Oconee Candle is a small candle company located in Canton, GA. We're on a mission to plant more trees and make a positive impact on the environment by selling nature-inspired candles.

Humble Beginnings

I began making candles while living in Georgia's Lake Country near Lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee. I fell in love with the natural beauty of the lakes and forests and early on, I knew that I not only wanted to sell candles—but wanted to create a business that makes an impact.

Candles That Give Back

Oconee Candle donates 5% of all sales to non-profit organizations to help plant more trees and restore natural habitats throughout the world. In 2025 we contributed to projects that plant mangrove trees in Kenya and also donated to remove plastic water bottles from ocean environments. In total, we planted over 100 trees and removed over 750 water bottles.

Not Just Another Candle Company

There are so many candles out there. Why choose us? The candle industry has an abundance of calming, comforting, or even nostalgic marketing to sell the experience of a candle. We want to do things a bit differently.

By focusing on our mission to plant trees in order to preserve and restore the natural environment around us, it's no longer about the candles themselves—but how our candles contribute to making a positive global impact. Every candle sold contributes to a cause much greater than itself and we welcome you to be a part of it.
